**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in the **installation, configuration, and maintenance** of Oracle database environments.
- Support day-to-day **database monitoring**, health checks, and performance tuning activities.
- Help implement and manage **backup, recovery, and disaster recovery** procedures using RMAN and Data Guard.
- Support database **patching, cloning, and upgrades** under supervision.
- Manage and maintain **database security**, including user creation, roles, and privileges.
- Monitor database performance and assist in troubleshooting issues related to storage, queries, and connectivity.
- Collaborate with developers and system administrators to ensure database stability and efficiency.
- Document procedures, configurations, and standard operating practices.
- Participate in **on-call rotations** for production support as needed (after sufficient training).

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **1-3 years of experience** in Oracle Database Administration or related database support role (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome).
- Basic understanding of **Oracle architecture, SQL, and PL/SQL**.
- Familiarity with **Oracle tools** such as RMAN, Data Guard, and Enterprise Manager is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of **Linux/Unix environments** and shell scripting preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
- **Oracle certification (OCA / OCP)** is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
