**Role & Responsibilities**

**Assist with Safety Inspections**:

- Participate in regular site safety inspections to ensure compliance with company safety policies and government regulations.
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing inspection reports.

**Support Safety Protocols Implementation**:

- Help implement safety plans and programs to mitigate workplace risks.
- Assist with the development and distribution of safety manuals and guidelines.
- Ensure safety signs, labels, and equipment are properly placed and maintained.

**Accident Investigation Support**:

- Aid in investigating workplace accidents and near-misses to determine causes and preventative measures.
- Document accidents and maintain records in accordance with company policy.

**Assist in Safety Training**:

- Help organize and conduct safety training sessions for employees, covering topics such as fire safety, equipment handling, and emergency response.
- Educate employees on safety procedures and ensure that they understand their role in maintaining a safe work environment.

**Compliance with Safety Regulations**:

- Stay updated on industry safety regulations, standards, and practices.
- Ensure the organization is compliant with occupational health and safety regulations and report any violations to the Senior Safety Officer.

**Safety Equipment and PPE Management**:

- Assist in the inspection and maintenance of safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, alarms, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure PPE is available and properly used by all employees.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, accident investigations, and training activities.
- Prepare and submit reports to senior management as needed.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of safety regulations, such as OSHA or other local safety standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
