Requirements.

  • Certificate/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Two (2) years working experience in Operational Safety, Site Safety Supervision for Construction or Manufacturing Environment. Fresh graduate can be considered.
  • Site Safety Supervisor certificate (Yellow Book) or Safety and Health Officer certificate (Green Book) is a plus.
  • Computer literacy; Microsoft.

Responsibilities.

  • Perform site safety supervision as part of daily routine. Intervene & coach frontline worker.
  • PTW signatories/sign-off for critical activity (Hotwork, Confine Space Entry, Mechanical Lifting, Working at Height)
  • Involve in work planning; review Job Hazard Analysis, Lifting Plan, Ventilation plan & Rescue plan for Confine Space Entry.
  • Liaison officer to local regulator (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, local authority).
  • Lead and/or support HSSE program/activity/campaign across site.
  • Conduct in-house HSSE training which & where is applicable.
  • Maintain inventory of Fire Fighting Equipment onsite including periodic inspection.
  • Coordinate Emergency Drill exercise.
  • Maintain & housekeep First Aid box inventory on site.
  • Support in executing Exposure Monitoring & Medical Surveillance program; Hearing conversation etc.
  • Coordinate Hazardous @ Scheduled Waste collection & disposal out from site.
  • Guide frontline operation staff of waste segregation & handling.
  • Lead site execution of Environmental Monitoring, follow-up completion of report.
  • Support in HSSE report data gathering.
  • Maintain & keep track on Unsafe Act Unsafe Condition reporting or equivalent intervention program.
  • Support on overall implementation of Integrated ISO Management System.
  • Perform incident Investigation as & when appointed.
  • Support on incident investigation data gathering.
  • Support to follow-up on investigation report & action closure.
  • Support incident investigation learning session.
