We are looking for a Safety Site Supervisor to join our team on a 6-month project basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of site safety practices and will ensure that all works are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards at the project site.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site inspections to ensure safe work practices.
  • Identify and mitigate potential hazards and unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Ensure all site activities comply with DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia) requirements and company safety policies.
  • Maintain and update safety documentation, including reports, checklists, incident logs, and inspection records.
  • Investigate any accidents or near-misses and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure safety compliance.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of site operations.

Requirements:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of working experience as a Safety Supervisor in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Possession of a valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor) certified by DOSH Malaysia.
  • Familiar with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and other relevant Malaysian safety regulations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple site activities.
  • Willing to be based at project sites and travel as required.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months (Project Basis; potential for extension based on project extensions)
  • Working Hours: Monday–Friday (8am-5pm) Saturdays (8am-1pm) Depending on Site activities, hours may defer
  • Location: Nilai, Negeri Sembilan
  • Remuneration: Competitive and based on qualifications and experience
