**Job Details**:The Finance Business Partner Analyst role will report directly to the Finance Business Partner. This position will provide financial analysis and insight to Finance Business Partners to take decisions and actions that drive the best possible financial outcomes in terms of growth in revenue and margin. This position will also provide the Financial Controller with financial analysis and insight to drive Net Working Capital improvement. The role requires excellent analytical skills and ability to build confidence with Finance Business Partner, Financial Controller, non-finance stakeholders in order to assist them in influencing senior decision-makers.
- Support the Finance Business Partner and management teams / the business to drive and improve performance, through running and delivering routine and ad hoc analysis and reports, highlighting significant variances and areas for further attention and analysis for example revenue, net sales, order-book, pipeline and utilisation
- Support the Financial Controller with routine and ad-hoc reporting over the month-end results e.g. net working capital and aged debtors analysis
- Run analysis to assist and provide support to Finance Business Partner in the evaluation of the service offering portfolio and mix e.g. service / product profitability
- Run scenario analysis to support the Finance Business Partner in setting strategies and business unit targets with the business e.g. competitor analysis
- Provide Finance Business Partner and the business with analysis that supports the account planning process
- Support the Financial Controller and Finance Business Partner in gathering business input and create first drafts of budgets and forecasts, including supporting any reporting system submissions thereof e.g. in Cartesis
- Review and consolidate regional forecasts
- Constantly looking at reporting improvements and additional analysis to provide insight across the business
- Support the Finance Business Partner in the production of reports and analysis to review the progress and achievement of any applicable bonus and commission schemes
- Run preliminary rate card calculations and any restatements required
- Support Finance Business Partner with analysis that supports sales management and pricing
- Provide Finance Business Partner with analysis to assess job performance e.g. job / customer profitability
- Prepare trend and variance analysis with preliminary explanations
- Perform direct cost analysis and product cost analysis
- Support the Finance Business Partner and the Financial Controller with any relevant ad hoc queries from Kantar

**Essential**:

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an FP&A role and 4-5 years' experience in a general finance role
- Degree level education in a related field
- Business orientation and interest
- Self-awareness and relationship-building skills
- High integrity and keen eye for accuracy that builds trust in analysis being provided
- Pro-active and ability to use own initiative
- Lateral thinker who can spot connections from a variety of sources
- Accountable, delivers on promises and follows through on commitments even in challenging circumstances
- Financially-orientated qualification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

**Desirable**:

- Operated in complex matrix environment with the same size and scale
- Experience from working in a similar industry or a project based organisation
