Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Employment Type: Permanent

An international FMCG leader is seeking a dynamic Finance Business Partner - SEA (Commercial) to join its regional team. This role will be pivotal in driving financial performance across multiple Southeast Asian markets. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to provide strategic financial insights that enable commercial growth and operational excellence.

Your new role

  • Partner with regional commercial business leaders to manage full P&L, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • Deliver actionable insights on revenue trends, marketing investments, and trade spend to optimize profitability with strong FP&A approaches.
  • Lead annual budget planning and support long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide timely financial reporting and scenario analysis to guide decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Champion compliance and governance by implementing robust internal controls and monitoring market-level expenses.
  • Act as a key finance representative in cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance, with a recognized professional qualification.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering within FMCG or similar industries.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • High level of resilience, problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset.
