**Job Summary**

Join our newly established People Services team in Kuala Lumpur as we expand capabilities in Payroll, Employee Life Cycle (ELC), Learning & Development (L&D), Compensation & Benefits (C&B), and global processes. This role supports the phased transition of activities from countries including Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the Philippines, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Pakistan. Our objective is to centralize virtual support functions at the Kuala Lumpur hub.

The People Services ELC Subject Matter Expert leads the People Services team in driving transition activities, ensuring compliance, and enhancing HR operations. This role serves as a key liaison between HR Centers of Excellence, regional and global stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver efficient, world-class People Services.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Project Management**
- Lead the transition activities through collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence, local SMEs, and regional/global stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local and organizational HR policies.
- Develop, maintain, and validate process documentation.
- Collaborate with HR Innovation, HRMS, and IT teams to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and eliminate redundancies.

**Leadership Management**
- Support a team responsible for data accuracy, processing, and compliance.
- Drive the implementation of HR projects and initiatives aimed at delivering world-class People Services.
- Serve as the primary contact between HR Innovation/HRMS and People Services for issue escalation and prioritization.

**Operations Management**
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence to enhance core HR processes.
- Manage escalations, resolve complex cases, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Analyze unresolved requests, diagnose issues, and route them to appropriate next-line support within People Services.
- Provide training and guidance on data management best practices to the People Services team.
- Leverage technology to optimize processes and implement improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 6 years of experience in HR Services ELC operations, preferably in HR Services startups.
- Strong communication skills with meticulous attention to detail and a customer-service mindset.
- Deep understanding of HR best practices, compliance, and process improvement methodologies.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
- Proficient with HR systems such as Oracle, Workday, SuccessFactors, or SAP, and experienced with HR ticketing tools like ServiceNow.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts) and comfortable working with large data sets.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher is advantageous.
