Job Title: Account Assistant

Department: Finance Department

Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our dynamic Finance Department. You will provide administrative support to our accountants, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient financial processes.

**Responsibilities**:
**Financial Record Keeping**:

- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Enter financial transactions into accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records.

**Administrative Support**:

- Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance teams.
- Organize and maintain financial documents and files.

**Invoice and Payment Processing**:

- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Track accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely processing of payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.

**Assistance with Financial Reporting**:

- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Compile and analyse financial information as required.
- **Compliance and Auditing**:
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Help maintain internal controls and financial procedures.

**Customer and Vendor Interaction**:

- Communicate with customers and vendors regarding billing and payment inquiries.
- Resolve discrepancies and issues related to financial transactions.

**General Office Duties**:

- Perform general office duties, such as filing, photocopying, and managing office supplies.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by senior accountants or management.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting or any related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Proven proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
