Job Description

Job Requirements:
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 2 to 3 professionals in building resiliency assurance analytics engineering solutions. Utilize these solutions to conduct daily system resiliency testing and assurance.- Collaboration: Engage with relevant technology operation teams to perform system health check validations and corrections based on the developed resiliency assurance analytics solutions.- Focus Areas: Initially prioritize resiliency assurance on on-premises core infrastructure services and systems, with eventual expansion to cover O365 products, services, and ecosystems.- Core Infrastructure Services: Focus on DNS, Active Directory, Wintel virtualization (Citrix, VMware), virtual desktop (AVD, Citrix), routers, switches, and firewalls.- Disaster Recovery: Review, advise, and validate the design and strategy of the infrastructure’s disaster recovery procedures and plans.

Technical Expertise:
- Platforms: Proficiency in Wintel and virtualization platforms for servers and desktops (e.g., VMware, Citrix, Citrix XenApp, Azure Virtual Desktop, Hyper-V).- Networking: Expertise in hybrid networking, routing, switching, load balancers, firewalls, VPN, MAN, WAN, LAN, and WiFi infrastructure.- Automation: Experience in Wintel automation development using Puppet, PowerShell, and Python.- Core Services: In-depth knowledge of DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and patch management/software distribution tools (e.g., SCCM).-
- Backup and Recovery: Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and disaster recovery frameworks.- O365 Ecosystem: Knowledge of O365 services and ecosystems.- Risk Management: Ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with IT operations and infrastructure.- Incident Response: Proficiency in executing incident response and disaster recovery plans and procedures.- Drills and Tests: Experience in conducting regular disaster recovery drills and tests to validate the effectiveness of recovery plans and identify areas for improvement.- Network Security: Understanding of network architecture and security protocols to ensure secure and efficient recovery of network services.- Database Recovery: Experience with database recovery procedures for various database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) to ensure data integrity and availability.- Monitoring Tools: Proficiency in setting up and managing monitoring tools to detect issues early and trigger recovery procedures.

Experience:
- Automation and Scripting: 2 to 3 years of experience in developing custom automation and scripting solutions.- Disaster Recovery: 2 to 3 years of experience in reviewing and advising on disaster recovery frameworks and procedures, focusing on both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.- Team Leadership: 5+ years of experience leading teams of technical engineering and operation SMEs.- Stakeholder Management: 5+ years of experience managing stakeholders across diverse technology areas, including end-users and senior management.
