**Technician's role would be**:
**System Installation**:

- Mounting and positioning CCTV cameras in strategic locations.
- Running and concealing cables (power and data) for cameras and other equipment.
- Setting up DVRs (Digital Video Recorders) and NVRs (Network Video Recorders) for video storage.
- Configuring network settings for remote access and monitoring.

**Camera Configuration**:

- Adjusting camera angles, focus, and zoom to ensure optimal coverage.
- Configuring camera settings such as resolution, frame rate, and exposure.
- Testing cameras to ensure they are functioning correctly.

**System Integration**:

- Integrating CCTV systems with other security systems, such as alarms or access control systems.
- Setting up motion detection and alert systems.
- Connecting cameras to a central monitoring station if required.

**Network Setup**:

- Configuring IP cameras and ensuring they are connected to the network.
- Setting up port forwarding and configuring network security for remote access.
- Troubleshooting network issues affecting CCTV performance.

**Maintenance**:

- Regularly inspecting and cleaning cameras and lenses.
- Checking and replacing damaged cables and connectors.
- Updating firmware and software to ensure system security and functionality.
- Performing routine system checks to identify and address potential problems.

**Troubleshooting**:

- Identifying and resolving issues with cameras, DVRs, NVRs, or the entire CCTV system.
- Diagnosing and repairing hardware and software problems.
- Responding to system alerts and alarms.

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
