The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment on construction sites by implementing and monitoring safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with Malaysian safety regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure all safety guidelines set by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Malaysia are adhered to.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and standards.

**Site Inspections**:

- Conduct regular safety inspections of the construction site to identify potential hazards.
- Ensure all safety equipment is in good working condition and used correctly.
- Ensuring contractors are working in a safe environment

**Training and Education**:

- Provide safety training and education to all site personnel.
- Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks regularly.

**Incident Management**:

- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain records of incidents and prepare reports for management.

**Safety Programs**:

- Develop and implement safety programs and policies.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance among all workers.

**Emergency Preparedness**:

- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Conduct regular emergency drills and ensure all personnel are familiar with emergency procedures.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Prepare and submit safety reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) by DOSH Malaysia.
- Proven experience in a safety role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
