**About the role**:
An After School Teacher roles involve providing educational support and supervision to students after regular school hours. Ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students outside of regular school hours. Duties include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, providing homework assistance, and fostering positive social interactions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and guide students during after-school hours.
- Assist with homework and academic enrichment.
- Plan and lead interactive activities such as arts & crafts, games and storytelling.
- To ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Maintain open communication with parents and school staff.
- Creativity and innovation in developing fun and educational activities for children.
- Ability to create and implement lesson plans that are engaging and educational for children.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, school administrator/personnel and parents to support student’s success and needs.
- Assist in managing the after-school program, ensuring that all process is well-organized.
- Communicate with parents about their children’s progress and any concerns that arise.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
- Provide individual support to students, addressing any learning or behavioral challenges lessons from time to time.
- Support day to day after school activities and operations.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum SPM / STPM or equivalent; Diploma/Degree in Education, Child Development, or related teaching certificate is an advantage.
- At least 3 years of proven work experience as a After School Teacher especially for early years students. Experience in tutoring, or childcare development.
- Fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia will be added advantage.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Patient, energetic, and passionate about children’s growth and progress.
- Able to work weekday afternoons _a_nd weekends for special events or programs.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
