**ABOUT THE ROLE**

- We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Client Service Associate Director to join our team.

This role is perfect for an articulate, confident and high-energy professional who is skilled in working collaboratively.

You will report directly to the Country Leader and will manage several of Nielsen’s core measurement solutions, providing the Malaysian media industry with market leading data and insight.

You will also have responsibility for managing and developing your own portfolio of clients from across the media industry and beyond, including media owners and content creators, agencies, regulators and industry associations.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Solution & Project Delivery: Delivering high quality solutions which innovate to client needs
- Oversee the management of several of our core client solutions, ensuring accurate data and on time monthly delivery of insight
- Ensure maximum client satisfaction through high level of service standards
- Provide value added benefits to clients’ businesses, by helping to develop strategic initiatives and thought leadership based upon the data and insight Nielsen produces.
- Internal Relationships: Collaborate closely with operations, technology and shared services support teams to ensure timely delivery of data and insight.
- Financials & Business Development: Assist in achieving financial objectives and other operational performance indicators:

- Play a key role in helping achieve revenue, profitability, quality, speed of delivery and productivity
- Maintain and develop relationships with current clients by providing an exceptionally high level of service and support
- Identify cross-sell opportunities which match client strategies
- Seek out new business opportunities within the media industry (new media entrants, agencies, advertisers etc.) beyond our syndicated solutions, including bespoke Media Analytics research.
- Team Development: Ensure a motivated, engaged and enthusiastic team.
- Be a visible and approachable leader, working closely with all members of the business
- Be responsible for identifying team training and development needs.
- Thought Leadership & Industry Relations: Identify opportunities to enhance the position of Nielsen as the go to provider of quality media insight in Malaysia
- Development and authoring of Thought Leadership articles/white papers etc using Nielsen data and insight
- Work with marketing communication teams to identify current/future trends and how to educate the media industry
- Reinforce Nielsen’s position as a key provider of Total Audience Measurement
- Represent Nielsen and the media industry through: Conference attendance, Industry associations, Public speaking opportunities, Newspaper articles and White Papers

**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences, Psychology, Statistics or related fields
- Minimum 8 years of market research experience (Agency or client side)
- Experience of managing a team
- Experience of managing a high volume of data driven research studiesIdeally, an understanding of current media currencies
- Proven track record of positively impacting client outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written English skills, with experience of presenting to senior audiences.
- Intellectually curious, a critical thinker and impact driven.
- A positive can-do attitude, with a reputation for providing clarity and creating positive energy.
- Highly collaborative, open to novel ideas and can build strong relationships with external clients and internal business partners.
