**PREFERRED SKILLS**

Quantity Surveyor must with strong knowledge of Mathematics for calculating material quantities and construction costs.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
**Project Management**:
**- ** Reviewing construction plans, calculate quantities and costs for materials, labour and timeframes.
- Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of project requirements.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, reviewing cost reports, and identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Consults with clients to understand their requirements and negotiate contracts and schedules.
- Conduct feasibility studies to vet proposed projects.
- Prepare tender packages and contracts, including bills for quantities.
- Manage risk, value engineering and cost control measures.
- Oversee and value subcontractors’ work for payments.
- Continually assess value for the client’s investment.
- Advise on claims, disputes and any contractual issues.

**Health and Safety Compliance**:
**- **Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or risks, and implement corrective measures to maintain quality and efficiency.

**Administration**:
**- **Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
- Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and resources to ensure timely availability and adherence to project schedules.

**Reporting and Analysis**:
**- ** Prepare regular reports on site progress and performance, inventory, and productivity metrics.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations to enhance knowledge and provide recommendations for process improvements and innovation.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in any field of study, most preferably quantity surveying, engineering, management.
- Min 3 years in similar capacity.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
