Lead Services Specialist 1

**Job Description Summary**: Project Management/ Planning/ Coordinating activities typically in the context of a production or services project to fulfill a customer order or need according to financial/commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Utilizes the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to develop and implement predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance procedures and schedules in accordance with O&M technical manual procedures.
Authorize work orders for required preventative and corrective maintenance.
Understands and complies with all applicable environmental, health and safety policies while conducting maintenance.
Installs, troubleshoots and repairs electrical systems, apparatuses and electrical components of stationary engines and mechanical equipment to provide utilities with electrical power. The stationary engines and mechanical equipment may include gas turbine engines, steam turbine, diesel engines, generators, heat recovery steam generators, gas compressors, air compressors, motors, pumps, etc.
Diagnoses cause of electrical malfunction or failure of operational equipment such as transformers, motors, relays, switches, and control and monitoring devices
Familiar with SFC, Excitation system, GCB and GE Relays.
Liaise with other departments to ensure that the electrical systems are integrated into the overall plant design
Monitor and track maintenance KPIs, driving improvements in equipment availability, reliability, and overall efficiency.
Terminates wiring to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment
Replaces faulty wiring and electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices
Conducts required routine and preventive maintenance on all high, medium, and low voltage breakers, switches, and controllers
Aligns, adjusts, and calibrates equipment according to specifications
Maintains records of repairs, calibrations, and tests
Connects unit to be tested to test equipment such as signal generator, frequency meter, or spectrum analyzer
Reads dials or digital displays that indicate electrical characteristics such as voltage, frequency, distortion, inductance, and capacity
Reads meters and gauges or automatic recording devices at specified intervals to verify proper operation
Records maintenance actions taken on work order forms
Initiates purchase order for parts
Reads and understands technical manuals and system piping and instrumentation diagrams

**Required Qualifications**
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Services & O&M Station Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
