Associate Product Manager

As part of the AirAsia Product Development organisation, you will be working as an associate product manager for AirAsia Explore. Your role will encompass defining, communicating, and executing upon the vision, roadmap, and strategy for new initiatives and working closely with the stakeholders across the business to convert their requirements into executable, discrete stories for the engineering team.

**About the role**
- You will be working with product and engineering teams to craft delightful experiences to our rapidly growing customer base.
- You will be interacting with teams including but not limited to design, branding, and growth, ensuring cross-collaboration amongst various teams.
- You will be the voice of the customer, both internally and externally, and will need to deliver impactful increments.
- You will also be working with our various lines of business and quantify and deliver upon improvements to the mobile platform, helping them achieve their objectives.

**Responsibilities**
- Deeply understand the customer, anticipating their needs and addressing their concerns.
- Translate group business requirements into concrete, actionable deliverables.
- Prioritize the product backlog by defining the roadmap across multiple releases and setting product milestones along the entire pre-, intra-, and post-booking flow.
- Understand and identify market trends and be able to communicate them to a broad audience.
- Manage a product with multiple stakeholders across multiple business lines.
- Run, support, and deliver multiple versions of the product to other stakeholders.
- Drive the entire agile software delivery process including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years experience as a product owner; experience in instant messaging software is a plus.
- Experience driving a product to completion with product owners, product managers, software engineers, quality assurance engineers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile software development using processes such as kanban and scrum.
- Familiarity with A/B testing.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Data-driven and pushes for results-oriented decision making.
- Basic understanding of concepts like APIs, microservices, and data science.
- Familiarity with cross-platform mobile frameworks such as React Native.
- Ability to identify and anticipate the business impact of product decisions.
- Demonstrated creativity, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong design sense and ability to work with designers to build fluid and responsive designs.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience
- Degree in a STEM or STEM-related field such as Computer Engineering.
- Previous experience in web development, app development, or DevOps.
- Familiarity with SQL.
- Ability to coordinate with remote teams.
