International Recruitment Manager

1. Devise, manage and implement recruitment strategies and operational plans that support the recruitment of students wishing to study at The Language House or its institutional partners.
2. Contribute to development and implementation of strategies and plans for recruitment of international students.
3. Collect, evaluate and share data with respect to the performance of individual recruitment initiatives and the overall student recruitment strategy.
4. Collaborate effectively with academic and marketing colleagues to ensure recruitment initiatives and strategy are relevant.
5. Develop and maintain sustainable relationships and partnerships with new and existing external stakeholders and partners to help establish strong links for student recruitment.
6. Identify, attend and evaluate a range of student recruitment events including recruitment fairs exhibitions, seminars, school visits, and agent-organised events.
7. Manage recruitment events including one-to-one personal consultations, open days, visits and taster workshops.
8. Contribute effectively to the development of student recruitment materials including presentations, brochures and online content.
9. Commitment and appreciation of the importance and effective delivery of an excellent student experience to all learners.
10. Any other duties commensurate with the nature of the job, as determined by the CEO.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Experienced in the education, policy or business sectors.
2. Experienced in student recruitment and admissions.
3. Effective knowledge of policy constraints and legal requirements (eg. Malaysian government immigration and education rules for international student recruitment).
WHAT SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE TO EXCEL IN THIS POSITION?
1. Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to advise and influence others.
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly report writing, presenting in public, and the ability to convey complex issues concisely and clearly.
3. Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to organise and run high quality events.
4. Strong analytical skills.
The Language House (TLH) is a language school registered with the Ministry of Education Malaysia. TLH offers quality language courses certified by the Malaysian Ministry of Education.
TLH is an education unit of Advance Synergy Berhad (ASB) and is located in bustling Petaling Jaya, adjacent to Kuala Lumpur.
