Consultant, Insurer Consulting Group **Company**: Marsh **Description**: **Consultant, Insurer Consulting Group** **What can you expect?** - Join a highly motivated and professional Marsh Insurer Consulting Group (ICG) team in Malaysia. - Collaborate with the ICG Leader in Malaysia to handle business development and insurer consulting services for ICG Carrier Partners in Marsh Malaysia. - Work alongside the regional Insurer Consulting Group to support and drive strategic carrier revenue growth. - Gain access to colleague resource groups worldwide, offering mentorship and development opportunities. - Build a sense of connection and community throughout your career at Marsh. **We will count on you to**: - Be responsible for negotiation and implementation of local Insurer Consulting Agreements (ICA). - Lead strategic planning with local Carriers and global Carriers as it relates to ICG in Asia. - Develop a robust pipeline of new opportunities. - Manage an appropriate engagement plan and an active strategy to improve our value to each carrier. - Develop and effectively manage carrier relationships. - Ensure a communication mechanism is in place for feeding back Carrier appetites / interest areas. - Work with Placement, Business and Team leaders for feedback on Carriers and discuss Strategic Carrier activities. - Lead meetings and activities with Carriers and Colleagues in delivering consulting services. - Keep abreast of facility tendering activities / opportunities. - Engage with ICG Leader to provide regular updates of carrier activities and relationship satisfaction. - Annual budgeting and work with Finance to ensure monthly Forecast properly reflects expected revenues both from a value and timing basis. - Identify gaps in the market, trends and opportunities and work with Carriers to develop new products. - Support the roll out of local and regional new products initiatives. - Identify new opportunities for Bespoke Consulting projects with Carriers collaborating with ICG Consultants in the region for revenue growth. - Drafts and or supervises completion of essential comprehensive project documents, including data analysis. - Respond to ad hoc detailed reporting and further analysis in response to Marsh and market queries. - Serves as the project or account manager and implement action plans, monitors progress, assures service meets or exceeds expectations. - Upholds business and compliance standards and integrity when representing the firm while offering customized solutions and completing proposal work. **What you need to have**: - Degree in Finance, Data Analytics or Actuarial Science. - Minimum 6 years of working experience in insurance. - Insurance Broking experience is a plus. - Excellent project management skills. - Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word. **What makes you stand out**: - Excellent people management, time management, presentation and problem solving skills. - Good oral communication and written skills in English. - Highly motivated, initiator-driven and a team player with good interpersonal skills while concurrently being able to work proactively and work independently where required. - Positive attitude towards work and learning.
