Position Objective: a) 100% product quality b) Reduce waste c) Reduce downtime d) Supervise production operators’ performance and discipline Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: a) Ensure machines are utilized and output maximized. b) Ensure efficient flow of material and consumption. c) Train and motivate production operator in running the machine according to specifications and procedures. d) Demonstrate equipment operations and work procedures to new employees, or assign employee to experiences workers for training. e) Inspect materials, products and equipment to detect defects or malfunction f) Plan schedules and assignments, production sequences to meet production KPI. g) To report to the manager on any problems and issues immediately so that action can be taken. h) Work closely with store and warehouse department. i) To maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping on the production floor. j) Ensure all documentations and records are organized and accurate. k) Ensure on-time delivery. l) Perform any such comparable duties as may be required. m) Workforce planning to cater the operation requirement. n) Coordination of works with colleagues at the same and other factories. o) Safety, health and environmental matters. Skills and competencies: a) Strong technical and machinery knowledge and skills b) Dependability — being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations. c) Leadership — willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction d) Self Control — maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations. e) Attention to Detail — being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks. f) Stress Tolerance — accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations. Performance measures and standards a) Zero customer complaints b) Zero quality issues complaints c) Production output, waste, quality target and delivery time. d) Machine downtime e) Number of disciplinary problems among production personnel, performance and motivation of production personnel. f) Number of accidents and property damages. g) Housekeeping/5S in the production area
