The R&D Executive (Cosmetic/Skin Care/Personal Care) is responsible for developing and formulating innovative cosmetic, skin care, and personal care products. This role involves research, product development, testing, and ensuring product quality and compliance with industry regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Product Development**: Conceptualize, design, and formulate cosmetic, skin care, and personal care products, including creams, lotions, serums, makeup, hair care, and other related products.
- **Research**: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market needs, and scientific advancements in cosmetic and personal care ingredients, technologies, and formulations.
- **Testing**: Conduct various tests, such as stability, compatibility, and sensory evaluations, to ensure product safety, quality, and performance.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure products meet all relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines, including regulations, labeling requirements, and safety standards.
- **Ingredient Selection**: Evaluate and select appropriate ingredients, raw materials, and actives for product formulations.
- **Cost Control**: Work within budget constraints while maintaining product quality and efficacy.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, quality control, and production, to bring products from concept to market.
- **Documentation**: Maintain detailed records of formulations, processes, and test results. Create product specifications and documents for manufacturing.
- **Problem Solving**: Troubleshoot formulation issues, quality concerns, and other challenges that arise during product development.
- **Innovation**: Continuously seek to improve product performance, appearance, and user experience through innovative formulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cosmetic/skin care/personal care product development and R&D, ideally within the beauty or personal care industry.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic chemistry, ingredient properties, and formulation techniques.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines for cosmetic and personal care products.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creative thinking and a passion for staying updated on industry trends and innovations.
- Proficiency with relevant software and laboratory equipment.
- Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and deadlines.
- Strong project management skills for overseeing multiple product development initiatives.

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
