**Your new role**

Report to CTO, this role will lead the charge in strategising, planning, and formulating proactive cybersecurity services.
- This position is pivotal in shaping the security landscape and supporting national cyber security objectives.
- ** Strategic Leadership**: Guide all activities within Information Security Management Assurance, Vulnerability Assessment, Security Evaluation, and Cryptography Development.
- ** Decision-Making**: Evaluate and approve departmental recommendations, ensuring alignment with our strategic vision.
- ** Industry Insight**: Stay informed on cybersecurity developments and provide actionable advice to influence organisational decision-making.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- **Degree**: Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science/Information Security.
- ** Certifications**: CISSP, CISA, CISM preferred.
- ** Experience**: Minimum 15 years in a leadership role, with a focus on cyber security.
- Expert technical knowledge in cyber security.
- Proven leadership with exceptional organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong industry connections and understanding of government policies.
