To support and assist Manager Crew Management on a day-to-day crew planning, crew changes, crew certification and documentation, crew claims and logistics. Planners are responsible to plan the Icon fleet manpower planning for all vessel crew signing-on and signing-off and to manage the right and competent crew works on board the vessels with full certification in compliance with mandatory Statutory and Charterer’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, organise, schedule and arrange seafarer’s mobilisation with timely assignment upon completion of their earned leave and tour of duty on board.

2. To ensure compliance on the vessel minimum safe manning, operational manning and charterers’ manpower requirement to support the operation for respective vessel.

3. To ensure qualified seafarers with valid STCW mandatory certificates and meeting charterers training requirements are being planned and mobilised to join vessel.

4. Manage mandatory and other relevant crewing information in the BASSnet and ensure all seafarers’ certification is updated in the system with current information for the next assignment.

5. Track, monitor and administer resigned or dismissed seafarers and ensure attrition records are updated in the BASSnet.

6. To manage seafarers’ performance appraisal and ensure that the record is updated into the system.

7. To work closely with Fleet Operations Department and Base Office for smooth operation prior to crew change planning activities.

8. Develop and maintain good relationship with seafarers and build good rapport in order to retain them.

9. To ensure all activities/matters related to crew planning are completed on time and accurately in accordance with department procedures, Company policies and procedures as well as statutory requirements.

Education / Experience Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or any HR related qualification & experiences.
- At least 2 years’ experience in crewing and marine, vassal arrangement or other related background.
- Must be a good planner and willing to work overtime.
- Have good PC knowledge and Microsoft programs.
- Possess positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skill and proactive in the daily task.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with good planning and relation building skills.
- Familiar with ISM Code, Familiar with Maritime Labour Convention

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
