General Manager

**Job Title**: General Manager (Jewelry Business)

**Job Type**: Full-Time

We are looking for a hands-on, experienced **General Manager** to lead and oversee the entire operations of our jewelry business — including **retail, production, and management**. This role is ideal for someone who is strategic, detail-oriented, and passionate about growing a premium brand through operational excellence, product quality, and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Retail Operations**
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure a premium customer experience.
- Lead the retail team in sales, customer service, and product presentation.
- Develop strategies to increase sales, client retention, and brand visibility.

**Production Oversight**
- Supervise and coordinate the jewelry production process — from design to final quality check.
- Ensure production timelines, cost control, and high-quality standards are met.
- Manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and finished products.

**General Management**
- Lead budgeting, financial planning, and overall business performance.
- Set goals, monitor KPIs, and ensure operational efficiency across all departments.
- Hire, train, and manage staff across production, retail, and admin functions.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, designers, and business partners.
- Ensure all legal, safety, and compliance standards are maintained.

**Requirements**:

- At least 5-8 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in jewelry, fashion, or luxury retail.
- Strong leadership and team management skills across multiple departments.
- Experience in both retail operations and production is a must.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Solid understanding of financial management and business operations.
- Knowledge of jewelry materials (gold, gemstones, diamonds, etc.) is an added advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proficient in **English** and **Bahasa Malaysia** (spoken and written).
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Mandarin or other languages are an added advantage (especially for dealing with certain suppliers or customers).
- This role requires occasional travel to other branches across cities to supervise operations, support teams, and ensure consistency in business performance.

Pay: RM5,027.46 - RM8,000.00 per month
