**Content Creator (Long-Form + Short-Form) - Johor Bahru** **Full-Time | On-Site (Eco Botanic / JB area)** **Primary Role: Content Planning, Shooting & Managing Editors (NOT heavy editing)** We’re looking for a creative and organised **Content Creator** who can produce high-quality long-form and short-form videos by **planning the content, shooting the footage, and managing an overseas editing team**. Your main responsibility is to **create the vision and capture the raw content** — not to sit and edit for hours. **What You’ll Do Creative Direction & Planning** - Plan, storyboard, and script content for **both long-form (YouTube, interviews, educational) and short-form (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)**. - Research trends, angles, hooks, and storytelling methods. - Develop content calendars and shoot schedules. **Production (Main Responsibility)** - Shoot videos using your camera or phone (strong sense of framing, lighting, and audio). - Direct on-screen talents and help them look natural on camera. - Ensure multiple takes, footage variations, and clean B-roll for editors. **Managing the Editing Workflow** - Send clear editing briefs to an overseas agency. - Review edited versions and give precise feedback. - Ensure the final output matches brand voice, tone, and quality standards. - Maintain a smooth content pipeline (raw > edit > review > publish). **Performance & Collaboration** - Stay updated on social media trends and platform best practices. - Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align content with campaigns. - Analyse performance (views, watch time, conversion) to guide future content. **Who We’re Looking For** - Strong camera presence and shooting skills. - Good understanding of angles, pacing, storytelling, and social media trends. - Able to manage editors and give clear, constructive feedback. - Basic editing skills only (for rough cuts or reference edits). - Creative, proactive, and capable of working independently. - Good communication skills — clear, structured, and confident. - Fresh grads welcome if they show creativity + willingness to learn. **Why Join Us?** - You’ll be the **creative lead** for our video content — not just an editor. - Freedom to pitch ideas and shape our content identity. - Fast-paced, supportive, and growth-driven environment. - Exposure to AI tools, storytelling frameworks, and content systems. - Real career progression as we scale our media output. **How to Apply** Send us: - Your video portfolio (shooting + creative direction samples) - Your Instagram/TikTok/YouTube if any - Resume - Expected salary **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Contract, Temporary, Freelance, Internship, Fresh graduate, Student job Contract length: 12 months Pay: RM1,271.18 - RM3,757.06 per month Expected hours: 20 per week **Benefits**: - Flexible schedule Work Location: On the road
