Responsibilities:

- Threat Detection and Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to proactively detect, respond to, and mitigate security threats and attacks on the blockchain network and AWS Instances.
- Security Guidance: Collaborate with software developers, DevOps engineers and blockchain developers to provide guidance and best practices for secure coding, ensuring security is integrated into the development process from the ground up.
- Security Testing: Perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and code reviews to identify security issues and work with developers to remediate them.
- Incident Response: Develop and maintain an incident response plan, including monitoring and responding to security incidents, and coordinating recovery efforts.
- Security Research and Awareness: Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends, and actively research new security technologies and best practices. Educate team members on security best practices and ensure adherence to security protocols.
- Compliance: Ensure that our blockchain project complies with relevant security regulations and standards.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience in system and blockchain security, preferably in a similar role.
- Experience with secure coding practices and reviewing and securing smart contracts.
- Proficiency in security assessment tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:
