Job Description:

  • Stay on Top of Technological Trends and Development.
  • Serve as the team's technical subject matter expert and technical escalation resource.
  • Responsible for overseeing regional operations and managing day-to-day support activities.
  • Perform Software / Firmware Installation of Upgrades and Patches if situation demands.
  • Produce RCA, Incident / Problem Resolution Report(s) if situation demands.
  • Attends to high severity incidents on and off-site.
  • Provides scope of work and man-days to pre-sales & sales teams (if required)
  • Reviews and highlights project deployment risks.
  • Define and manage resource plan together with the Project Manager aligning to the project schedule.
  • Plan and drive the project's technical execution to achieve the committed scope and timeline.
  • Write, compile, and maintain project documentations.
  • To produce project documentation including LLD, As-built Docs etc.
  • Cooperating and communicating with Project Manager & Solution Specialist.
  • Act as Project Lead, and ability and delegates lower complexity tasks to L2 engineers.
  • Train and mentor junior team members in serving customer across the region.
  • Follows documented processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Updates incident tickets in a timely manner in Service Desk MSP Ticketing System to meet contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Next day standby (onsite / remote) after implementation activity.
  • To provide knowledge transfer session / administrator training for projects.
  • Perform any other job-related duties incidental to the work.

Job requirement:

  • Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
  • Must be willing to be based in the Johor area.
  • Preferably someone with atleast 3-5 years of operational & project deployment experience.
  • A 
    background in the
     
    Oil & Gas industry
     is preferably for this role.
  • Proven 
    project implementation experience and strong hands-on expertise
     in deploying, configuring, and managing network and security solutions.
  • Preferably someone who can 
    work independently with minimal supervision, yet collaborate well with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work on complex issues in a fast and dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience and good understanding according to the domain or specialization.
