Every day, publishers, and brands around the world work with WoodWing products to create magazines, newspapers, and other content, online, in-app, and in print. At WoodWing, you will help build the future of content production, in an organization with little hierarchy and lots of freedom to develop your own skills.
**About your role**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding and off-boarding process for employees, including conducting orientation sessions and preparing necessary paperwork.
- Maintain employee records, personal files and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
- Handle employee inquiries and provide assistance with HR-related matters.
- Handle requests for leave, sick leave, and recovery notifications, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and organize company events.
- Assist in preparing HR reports and documentation as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR processes are efficiently executed.
- Provide general support such as hotel & travel arrangements.
- Upkeep for office maintenance.
- Assist in managing office purchases (requisition) - printing, stationery, pantry, etc.
- Flexible and adaptable to ad hoc tasks and requests upon request from management.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or similar role, preferably 1-2 years.
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work remotely, while maintaining effective communication with the team.
