Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess user or client’s needs to find the most suitable solution for them
- Providing support to maintain the production instances (fine-tuning performance and troubleshooting of JVM)
- Continuing to bring new development techniques to the Digital team.
- Excellent problem solving skills to provide solutions on technical problems.
- Day-to-day liaison with other team members, bearing responsibility for ensuring that timings are met and those other developers are adhering to briefed requirements.
- Ability to work in a variety of client settings and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

**; Requirements**: - Knowledge Skills and Competencies
- Advanced knowledge in object-oriented programming in Java is a must.
- Having interest to understand and willing to explore standard development of websites.(optimization of webpage performance, functionality to support load balancing).
- In-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks like Spring Boot/Spring MVC.
- Experience in database platforms such as MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle/SQL Server.
- Basic Database schema design and implementation skills (transactional, normalization, etc).
- Understand and experience with web services and REST API.
- Understanding of Enterprise CMS and Ecommerce platform is a plus.
- Experience with maintaining and fine-tuning JVM on production servers in Linux environment is a plus.
- Cross-browser development using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with JavaScript technology - including libraries and frameworks (JQuery / Angular JS / Vue.js / React.js) and build tools is a plus.
- Cloud Computing products: Amazon Web Services or Azure is a plus.

Qualifications and Experience
- 3-5 years of experience as a Java Specialist or similar role.
- Experience with managing development teams in either traditional waterfall or agile models of development.
- Able to adapt to previously established technologies and platforms into proposed new technologies.
- Ability to work within a collaborative team environment and focus on overall productivity
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences.
