Assistant Finance Manager

**Who are we looking for**: We are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager who will be assisting the finance manager to oversee the full spectrum of finance operations in ASEAN. This includes preparation and coordination of monthly consolidation, liaise with external parties and local authorities, preparation of various reporting packages, transfer pricing documentation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. **What you will be doing**: You will be reporting to the Finance Manager. You will be a self-starter who will operate with significant autonomy and be involved in process improvements projects to drive automation and efficiency. - Responsible for group consolidation including coordination with the team and closing of the company level account. - Assist in the preparation of IFRS financial statements for the group of entities. - Manage and maintain the accounting systems including structure and code across the regions. - Manage and responsible for the finance database in the server. - Manage and ensure the completeness of the finance documentation requirement ensure safekeeping as required by local rules and in line with company policy. - Liaise with bankers on bank matters across the regions. ( bank queries, bank account maintenance, bank updates.) - Liaise with auditors on yearly audit matters across the regions. - Liaise with corporate secretaries on statutory compliance matters across the regions. - Liaise with respective tax authorities on corporate income taxes, withholding taxes, GST/VAT or equivalent on periodical basis ( monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, yearly) - Assist in preparation of transfer pricing documentation. - Assist in preparation of various monthly reporting packages. - Assist in drafting of effective internal controls and processes. - Involve in other financial planning and analysis projects. - Involve in research and implementation of financial and operational systems. - Other ad-hoc projects assigned by Finance Manager. **What we need from you**: - Degree in Accounting/Finance and CPA/CA qualified. - At least 3 years of broad-based finance experience comprising: - external audit and tax - month-end close, financial and management reporting - financial planning and analysis - Intermediate Microsoft Office skills - Prior experience with Xero accounting software is a plus. - Able to communicate well and collaborate effectively with colleagues across multi-cultural backgrounds. - Desired traits: Self-starter, driven, mature and a problem solver.
