Duties and Responsibilities

  • To oversee day-to day financial and accounting functions as a whole and assist Finance Manager.
  • Review and verify full set of accounts and ensure proper filing of all documents related to the company's financial records.
  • Collaborate with the operation teams to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations that support management decision-making process for smooth business operation.
  • Assist in providing financial reports as required such as cash flow management, budgetary control analysis and other reporting for management review.
  • Assist in developing financial plans that support organizational strategy.
  • Identify areas for improvements process and to assist in implementation of new solutions.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other parties to comply with regulatory and statutory requirements. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and establish controls to avoid errors in the process.
  • Ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all financial data.
  • Perform any other related duties or assignment as and when required by the management.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication with the ability to present financial insights effectively.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Finance/Accounting
  • Possess a Degree/Professional accounting qualification
  • Good command of written and spoken Malay and English
  • Experience in financing activities will be an added advantage
