The
Assistant Finance Manager
will support the Finance team in handling all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and control across our omni-channel operations. This role requires a solid understanding of retail and e-commerce finance, including inventory, multi-channel revenue streams, payment reconciliation, and marketing ROI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of finance executives, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in daily finance operations
  • Oversee routine finance tasks including bank reconciliations, payment processing, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger maintenance
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of sales and payments across e-commerce platforms, POS systems, and payment gateways
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses
  • Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes across all business units (e-commerce, retail, logistics, marketing, etc.)
  • Collaborate with retail operations and e-commerce teams to align financial data with business performance
  • Monitor key financial metrics including sales performance, marketing ROI, inventory costs, and gross margins
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, tax agents, banks) to support audits and ensure compliance
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, internal controls, and reporting systems
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor day-to-day cash management
  • Contribute to finance strategy discussions and support decision-making with data-driven insights
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and dashboards to support strategic decision-making

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience, including team leadership or supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of omni-channel retail operations, including e-commerce, physical store finance, inventory, and payment systems
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive mindset
