Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly-motivated
Assistant Finance Manager/Finance Manager
to join a leading property group. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial management tasks, from month-end closing to statutory reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the company's financial success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the month-end closing process and prepare consolidated financial reports in accordance with current accounting standards.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly financial statements for public dissemination and board-level review.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, budget preparation, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit and the preparation of the company's annual report.
  • Assist in tax-related matters, including preparing tax estimates and working with tax agents for statutory submissions.
  • Handle additional ad-hoc financial and accounting duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related professional qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in full set accounting, with a preference for candidates from the real estate or property development industry.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Prior experience in a publicly-listed company and a strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance requirements are highly preferred.
  • Auditing experience and strong analytical skills are a definite advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
