Primary responsibilities:

  1. Manage full set accounts, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
  2. Assist to supervise a team of accounting/finance staff on full spectrum of daily accounting function.
  3. To assist to perform month end closing in a timely manner including reviewing the journal entries, inventory, fixed assets, invoicing, receipt, report preparation and variance analysis.
  4. Work closely with the finance team to generate accurate and timely financial reports for management review.
  5. Responsible for the E-Invoice Submission.
  6. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
  8. Supervise junior team members in the execution of routine operational tasks.
  9. Assist in preparation of tax computations and liaise with tax agents on filings and compliance with tax regulations.
  10. Support the superior/management on ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements: -

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or MIA membership is an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2-3 years in supervisory roles, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
  • Detailed with excellent problem-solving skills, able to multi-task, proactive and able to meet tight timeline.
  • Working experience in similar industries will be an added advantage
  • Good command of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possess strong sense of responsibility, integrity, able to work under pressure and result oriented.
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork orientation.
  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
