**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities1. Project Management**
- Lead and manage solar energy projects from planning to handover.
- Create and track project timelines, budgets, and milestones.
- Identify and address risks or delays in project execution.

**2. Technical Design & Engineering**
- Provide technical oversight for PV and solar thermal system designs.
- Review and approve schematics, layouts, and engineering calculations.
- Collaborate with internal design teams and external consultants.

**3. Team Leadership**
- Manage and mentor a team of Drafters and Design Engineers.
- Set clear goals, conduct reviews, and support professional development.
- Ensure efficient resource allocation across all projects.

**4. Regulatory Compliance**
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and national solar regulations.

**5. Quality & Safety**
- Implement and monitor strict quality assurance processes.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to industry standards.

**6. Innovation & Cost Optimization**
- Stay updated with trends and innovations in solar energy.
- Recommend new technologies to improve system performance and reduce cost.
- Track design-related costs and propose cost-effective solutions.

**7. Ad-Hoc Tasks**
- Provide technical input and support for urgent or strategic assignments as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related discipline.
- At least 3 years’ experience in solar project management, technical design, or engineering.
- Strong leadership experience managing engineering teams.
- Proficiency in PV design software such as PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, etc.
- Familiar with solar energy standards, safety codes, and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
