**Education and Experience**:
At least 2 years’ experience of hands on security technical experience preferred.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Network Security Monitoring**:

- Monitor firewalls, and other network security tools for anomalies and threats.
- Respond to alerts from SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel).
- **Incident Detection & Response**:

- Investigate security incidents and breaches, perform root cause analysis.
- Coordinate and implement mitigation strategies.
- **Firewall and Network Device Management**:

- Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, and VPNs (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
- Regularly update access control policies and security rules.
- **Vulnerability Management**:

- Perform regular vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation.
- Support patching cycles and track unresolved issues
- **Compliance & Governance**:

- Ensure network security controls are aligned with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Participate in audits and support documentation efforts.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Work with cross-functional teams to design secure network solutions.
- Provide training and security awareness to technical staff.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- At least 2 years of hands on security technical experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP routing, network packet analysis tool use and configuration
- Familiar with network and security components and products such as Cisco, Fortigate, Palo Alto Networks, etc.
- Preferably possess technical certifications such as CCNA, CCNA-Security
- Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Able to uphold confidentiality
- Contribute to a positive work environment by being an active and productive team leader
- Strong telephone communication and customer management skills, ability to effectively communicate technical solutions and remedial action plans through oral and written communications.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
