Job Summary

This position is responsible to handle day to day operations of IT Security, Network Management and access controls. He / She is also responsible to manage security product such as network routers, switches, firewalls, antivirus server, proxy gateway, network access control, log monitoring system and data loss prevention.

Role and Responsibility

  • Manage IT Security and Network Management requirements, incident, problem, change request, risk and controls, deliverables and projects.
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) which includes maintenance of User ID and System Access, Privilege Access Management (PAM), Regular User Access Review and Control.
  • Establish and maintain the operational processes and procedures for IT Security and Network Management.
  • Involve in IT Security and Network Management related regulatory assessment, IT audit, business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Create, define, establish, review and maintain IT security policies, guideline, standard and checklist.
  • Work closely with various department users and stakeholders to provide advice, technical support related to IT security and network matters.
  • Engage external vendors for procurement, independent IT and Cybersecurity assessment, e.g. Intelligent-Led Penetration Test.
  • Assist in IT Department, IT Security and Network initiatives and projects roll out.

Job Requirements

  • Possesses recognised Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on working experience in IT Security and Network Management, preferably in Financial Services Industry.
  • Solid knowledge of IT Security and Network principles and practices.
  • Familiar with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) regulations, e.g. Risk Management in Technology, Protection of Customer Information, Outsourcing and Business Continuity Management.
  • Preferably holds relevant professional certification, e.g. CRISC, CISSP and CISM.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to engage and collaborate with various stakeholders including Senior Management and Vendors.
