Product and Material Management Executive

**Job Purpose (Brief summary of the position, i.e. why the position exists)**

1. To coordinate and handling on recipe and chemical substances management, and other matters related at local operation activity supporting regional regulatory management (RRM).

2. To carry out intelligence support/search in terms of import-export data for relevant key ingredients

3. To carry out periodical audit into formulations, analytic and follow-up action into aging materials

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities (Describes the core areas in which the job must obtain results in order to achieve its job purpose)**
- To coordinate on registration, amendment, inactivation, notification and distribution of product formulation (PHAN) and raw material (ROH) for Baerlocher Malaysia and Baerlocher China
- To assign and update the market name assign list of PVC finished goods and trading items.
- SAP user (MM and PP Module) - create, amend, in-activate and re-activate of the followings:

- Material Master Data
- Master Recipe (Batch time and batch quantity)

for finished goods (FERT), raw materials (ROH), intermediate (ZWIP), trading items (HAWA), maintenance items (ERMY) and packaging materials (VERP)
- To support regional regulatory management (RRM) at local operation activity including:

- handling enquiry, questionnaire, composition declaration, etc. from interested parties and prepare statement of compliance;
- liaise with RRPS for Safety Data Sheet (SDS) activity and compliance enquiries, monitor and maintain the availability for easy reference/retrieval;
- maintain up-to-date raw material database related to products in monitoring the fulfillment compliance to regulatory obligation; and
- other indirect support as and when require.
- To assist and participate in Product Development & Marketing Support activities i.e.: Continuous Product and Process Improvement (CPPI) and Product Development (PDL).
- To conduct worldwide journal-patent search and literature review on related product and/or industry to keep abreast of latest development.
- To review and maintain documentation for product & material management (PMM).
- To carry out periodical audit into recipe registration in productive system to ensure accuracy of recipe transfer from SAP to productive system.
- To compile intelligence related to raw materials in the region as well as insights into competitor’s.
- Ensure compliance to Health, Safety & Environment for safe working environment which include requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 and HACCP by all Laboratory employees.
- To carry out other assigned duties entrusted by superior from time to time.

**Qualifications (Minimum Qualification Required For The Position)**
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Plastic Technology, Polymer Technology or Applied Science background.
- Registered with any relevant professional body is additional advantage.

**Experience (Minimum Number Of Years And Type Of Experience Required For The Position)**
- Minimum 4 - 7 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Analytical, Matured, Resourceful and Independent in carrying out tasks entrusted.
- Excellent written and communication in English and able to interact with all level of Management
- Prior experience in SAP (MM and PP module)
