**Safety Management**
- Ensure optimum safety and efficient operations within the parameters of the company standards as well as meet with the international standards set for ISO certifications.
- Ensure the compliance in the operation of all mechanical and electrical equipment to maximize safety, reliability and performance.
- Preparing and initiating contingency plans for operating equipment in cases of breakdowns as necessary.
- To ensure the safe and proper functioning and compliance of all emergency systems.
- Review and revision and updating of SOPs for rides, games and activities as and when necessary and only in line with prior consultation and approval from management.
- Create and maintain records and documentation related to the department. Ensure all information is accurate and up to date according to company and legal standards and compliant with authorities and supply reports or information as required by management to assist in the formulation of business planning, budget forecasts or training needs analysis etc.
- To constantly look for ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department. Additionally, the role is expected to suggest and implement improvements to internal procedures and controls to improve efficiency and reduce costs wherever possible.
- Conduct regular reviews and inspections of staff adherence to approved SOPs in the operations of rides, games and activities.
- Conduct Safety Checks, i.e., prior to opening hours checks on daily basis; month interval safety audit; and annual safety audit by accredited third party consultant.
- To ensure customers safety is always maintained at the highest standards and to ensure guests have an enjoyable experience.
- To make rounds to check the safety aspects of the park.
- Monitor and inspect the operating business workplaces including staff and customers as well as equipment and take appropriate action to ensure compliance with OSHA, FMA, EQA, UBBL and the Fire Service Act.
- Liaise with the DOSH, DOE, Majlis and other relevant local authorities with regard to health, safety and environmental matters.
- Maintain pertinent information on Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and to ensure the relevant communication information is distributed to the responsible parties.
- Conduct and constantly review HIRARC (Hazards identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) and JSA (Job Safety Analysis) at the workplace(s).
- Lead the investigation, recording of incidents, injuries or illnesses and dangerous occurrences as required and implement corrective actions for improvement opportunities
- Ensure the hazardous waste management and environmental treatment equipment is operated and managed in a safe manner and in compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and keep track on first aid supplies.
- Conduct scheduled safety operations audits and ensure that all findings and recommendations are promptly addressed.
- Continuously promote safety awareness to all levels of employees through meeting, briefing, training, induction and other communication platforms and sessions.
- Plan and follow-up on renewal of all safety and health related licenses or certificates (including but not limited to lifting machine, elevators).
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health Management or any related field
- Possess First Aider certificate, Emergency Response Training Certificate, or or a certificate of a similar nature.
- A competent and assured individual
- Minimum of five years of experience in Safety and Health, first aid, security, or a related field
**Salary**: RM3,200.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
