Job Description:
As an Accounts Executive at our food manufacturing company, you will play a critical role in managing both accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring financial accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. This position requires excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining a smooth and reliable cash flow for the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR):

- Generate invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with clients to ensure prompt payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts regularly to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of AR transactions, including billing adjustments and credit memos.

Accounts Payable (AP):

- Process vendor invoices, ensuring they align with purchase orders and delivery records.
- Manage timely payments to suppliers and handle any disputes or discrepancies.
- Record and categorize AP transactions, maintaining accuracy in the general ledger.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of supplier statements and resolve outstanding issues.

General Ledger and Financial Reporting:

- Assist with monthly closings by reconciling AR and AP accounts.
- Prepare financial reports, including cash flow statements and balance sheets.
- Support audits by preparing documentation for AR/AP and other accounts.

Compliance and Documentation:

- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and company policies.
- Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline AR/AP processes.
- Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with the finance, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure accurate data flow.
- Provide customer support regarding account queries.
- Assist in training new staff on AR/AP procedures and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable and/or payable, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting software, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external clients.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle discrepancies and resolve issues.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of local tax regulations and experience in financial reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Up to RM3,300.00 per month
