Are you an experienced backend developer ready to lead and mentor a team? We're looking for a Backend Team Lead to guide our developers and own the delivery of our backend services. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help your team build great products, solve problems, and grow their skills. If you're a natural leader who enjoys both coding and coaching, we want you on our team

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design and development of our backend services and APIs.
- Guide your team in building high-quality, well-tested, and scalable code.
- Manage the team's workflow, plan tasks, and ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Act as the technical expert for the team, helping them solve tough problems and removing any roadblocks.
- Mentor and support the professional growth of your team members through regular feedback and guidance.
- Lead code reviews and establish best practices to improve the team's overall code quality.
- Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to turn requirements into clear, actionable plans for your team.

**Job Requirements**:

- 4+ years of hands-on experience developing backend services, with strong skills in Node.js.
- Some experience leading a team or mentoring other developers.
- Familiar with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS) and cloud platforms (like AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Solid experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- A natural leader who can motivate, support, and guide a technical team.
- A responsible and organized team player who can manage deadlines and priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Excellent at explaining technical ideas and communicating with your team and other departments.
- Strong English communication skills; knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and/or Cantonese would be an advantage.

Pay: Up to RM7,000.00 per month
