Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tech Lead / Azure Platform) located in Petaling Jaya. The Tech Lead will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of web applications using , managing cloud infrastructure on the Azure platform, leading a team of developers, and ensuring high code quality through code reviews and best practices. The role also involves collaborating with various stakeholders to define technical requirements, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and mentoring junior developers to enhance their skills.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in and experience with building RESTful APIs
  • Experience managing, deploying, and operating applications on the Azure platform
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of developers
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, including code reviews and version control
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Relevant certifications in Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus

Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering, including 5+ years in a lead or senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of , NestJS, TypeScript, and cloud-based systems
  • Experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of domain-driven design and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, CQRS, Saga).
  • Practical experience with SQL Server, MongoDB, and caching tools such as Redis.
  • Familiarity with security standards (OAuth, OpenID Connect, Key Vaults).
  • Exposure to front-end frameworks such as or Angular is a plus.
