Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Overview:

We are seeking a Backend Tech Lead – Crypto to lead the design, development, and scalability of our blockchain and crypto-related backend systems. This role is ideal for a senior engineer with strong backend expertise and blockchain knowledge who can lead a team, set technical direction, and deliver secure, high-performance solutions.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 6+ years of backend development experience with Python; senior profiles with equivalent experience considered.
  • Proven experience in cryptocurrency or blockchain development.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, database systems, and backend architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Flutter development for mobile integration.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS).
  • Strong Git workflow knowledge and Agile experience.
  • Preferred: Experience in trading/financial systems, DevOps, and scaling applications.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor backend engineers, setting technical direction and coding standards.
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for crypto trading, custody, and settlement systems.
  • Integrate backend systems with blockchain networks, crypto exchanges, smart contracts, and digital wallets.
  • Ensure high standards of security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Oversee testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of backend systems.
  • Collaborate with product, frontend/mobile teams, and leadership to align technical solutions with business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6, RM13,807.08 per month
