Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with deep expertise in PHP, Laravel, and AWS to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, designing scalable backend architecture, overseeing the full software development lifecycle, and ensuring efficient communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
- Review code and enforce best practices in software design, development, and documentation.

Project Delivery
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions with scalable and maintainable architectures.
- Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met with high-quality deliverables.

Team Management
- Manage and grow a team of backend developers by providing technical direction and career development.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, code reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Cloud & Infrastructure
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure tasks.

Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a liaison between the development team and non-technical stakeholders.
- Present technical concepts in a clear, concise manner for business audiences.
- Provide regular project updates and proactively communicate risks or delays.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of backend development experience with PHP and Laravel.
- Strong experience in frontend framework like Vue.js or React.
- 3+ years of experience working with AWS services.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring a technical team.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, database design (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and version control (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working on tools like JIRA & Confluence.
- Strong documentation, communication, and team collaboration skills.
