**Scaffolding Manager** in a shipyard, your role involves overseeing and managing scaffolding operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality. Here are the key tasks and responsibilities associated with this position:
**Product Line Strategy and Plans**:

- Support the implementation of specific **Product Line (s)** strategy within the organization’s functional objectives.
- Ensure the delivery of key business drivers, including **Health, Safety, Environment (HSE)**, profitability, quality, and efficiency for the scaffolding product line.
- Provide direction to the product line team members under your supervision.
- Communicate plans and objectives to various management levels.

**Business Planning and Reporting**:

- Develop annual **Product Line budgets** aligned with strategic plans.
- Execute the plan after approval by the business board.
- Monitor and report performance against the plan, making necessary changes as required.
- Regularly review progress in realizing strategic plans, business plans, and financial results.

**Business Development**:

- Identify, investigate, and negotiate new business opportunities, including enhancing and extending existing contracts.
- Build strong relationships with standalone customers to enhance product line sales.
- Collaborate with key account teams to maximize opportunities within customer organizations.

**Business Unit Management**:

- Ensure effective use of business/operational management systems for service delivery operations.
- Foster collaboration across functional disciplines within the matrix organization to achieve business strategy implementation.
- Manage the operations of scaffolding areas/markets and business functions.

**Staff Management and Performance**:

- Ensure sufficient and competent resources to meet ongoing project demand.
- Lead, manage, and develop business unit staff in alignment with corporate and HR strategies.
- Retain and develop technical knowledge within the team.
- Maintain personnel development plans.

**Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ)**:

- Attend and contribute to health and safety training and briefs.
- Assist in maintaining your own and others’ health and safety.
- Contribute to a culture of HSEQ improvement.
- Execute work safely and reliably to quality standards.

**Stakeholder Management & Networking**:

- Maintain an extensive network of internal contacts.
- Integrate stakeholder needs in prioritizing, reviewing, and delivering business results.
- Build positive relationships with key clients to extend the organization’s network and partnerships.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Scaffolding works Management
- Extensive experience in scaffolding operations within Shipyard or Maritime Industry
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications in scaffolding and safety management are highly desirable.

**Salary**: RM33,300.00 - RM58,800.00 per month
