**Introduction**:
To complete our Implementation Team, based in offices around the world, and to support our global growth strategy, we are looking for a Javascript (Front End) Programmer. The programmers’ role is to build client portals, implement custom client requests using (HTML/CSS/JS), troubleshoot tickets through JIRA, and build report/dashboards using various web technologies.
**Responsibilities**:
- Creating community portals on the Liferay CMS platform and building templates using Apache Freemarker
- Use your knowledge of HTML/ CSS/ JS to implement custom requests from our clients
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues that may arise including those that may require knowledge of network/server infrastructure
- Assist the support team with technical questions as needed
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
- Assist with the creation of interactive dashboards, using various platforms such as Reportal, or React (NextJS)
**Required skill set**:
- 2-3+ Years of experience using Javascript (ES3+)
- Advanced knowledge of jQuery
- Be just as capable of working in modern (HTML5/CSS3/ES6) environments as you are working in legacy environments (HTML4/CSS1/ES3).
- Familiar with using Chrome’s development tools to troubleshoot logic, styling, accessibility, or network issues
- Working knowledge of Bootstrap 3 and 5
- Good verbal and written language skills in English
- Experience working with Git, Bitbucket or similar source control software
- Experience with React and the NextJS framework.
- Knowledge of LodashJS, HighchartsJS, Bootstrap
- Experience writing code for other CMS platforms (Wordpress, Joomla, etc )
- Familiarity with interacting with REST/GraphQL APIs
- Understanding of Market Research and survey data
- Experience with data manipulation in R, SPSS or similar
- Experience working with creatives submitted in Adobe XD, Figma, Balsamiq
