**Introduction**

We are recruiting for a forward-thinking HR Business Partner to collaborate with our key stakeholders (managing directors and heads of departments) and make a difference for our people across the Asia Pacific region.

Working closely with the Chief of People, the HR Business Partner will lead on key people projects and coach other members of the team within the relevant geographies and work to the following activities: Regional HR practices alignment, Employee Relations, Stakeholder Partnership, Wellness, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Payroll/Finance reports, Employee Engagement, Compliance to local legislation. This role will manage two subordinates based in Kuala Lumpur.

**Responsibilities**:

- Acts as business partner/consultant providing advices in different HR disciplines to employees, line managers, APAC leaders
- Ensure day-by-day People lifecycle run smoothly across the Asia Pacific region: Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Australia including onboarding, training, health insurances, taxes, annual leaves management, offboarding,)
- Implement HR strategies, policies, and process by working closely with all function heads, and assisting line managers & employees to understand all policies and procedure
- Provide performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Work in collaboration with global Finance team (France based), local accounting team (India based) and local payroll providers to ensure accuracy and timely management of changes are fed into the Payroll process.
- Management of all HR initiatives for the region in collaboration with center of excellence (Operation, Talent Management and Learning & Development including engagement strategies; Diversity & Inclusion, Wellbeing, Employees survey
- Management of employee relations issues including grievance and disciplinary.
- Promote Toluna culture & values
- Implement an HR analytics culture across the organisation to analyse trends and metrics in collaboration with other geographies and participate in the development and implementation of the relevant programmes.
- Maintain healthy relationships across the business by conducting regular meetings with all stakeholders and facilitate communication across departments.
- Implement and be and advocate of the group’s compensation and reward programmes.
- Oversee the payroll process and overall people operations.
- Oversee the talent acquisition process

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as HR Business Partner, Senior Executive Human Resources or HR Generalist.
- In-depth knowledge of the legal requirements and HR best practices within APAC region
- Enjoy working independently and in fast paced environment
- Able to speak Mandarin and any other Asian language is a plus.
- Good understanding of all areas of HR
- Willingness to understand the business, its strategy and mission
- Able to drive effective change management for HR initiatives across the organization.
- Strong execution focus combined with the ability to multi-task, with attention to detail and great time management to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills at any level
- A business enabler: ability to facilitate communication and cross-departmental sharing of information
- Proven ability to act as a mediator and resolve conflict in an informal way
- Willingness to attend calls on different time zones: APAC and Europe
