Western Digital seeks a talented and passionate industrial designer with experience and interest in product graphics to join our diverse and energetic design team. This is an outstanding opportunity to bring new ideas to our industry-leading consumer product lines.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Lead design projects with creative synergy and adventurous outlook from product inception to product launch.
- Evangelize and demonstrate the value of design across our product portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user needs, market trends, and technical considerations into effective design solutions.
- Create design concepts, including form factors, product graphics, and colourways.
- Leverage various design tools to communicate concepts, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Keyshot, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office.
- Support multiple programs at different stages of the design process.
- Develop detailed product specifications, including artwork, colours, materials, and finishes.
- Communicate with design, marketing, and engineering teams as well as suppliers across multiple regions.

**Qualifications** REQUIRED**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or equivalent.

**PREFERRED**:

- Must have 2-5+ years of recent and relevant industrial design experience.

**SKILLS**:

- Excellent form development skills. Experience and interest in graphic design also preferred.
- Competency in digital tools - Adobe Creative Cloud, Keyshot, and SolidWorks or similar software.
- Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively present ideas.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to facilitate solutions with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Effective time-management skills to handle multiple projects.
- Portfolio that showcases a thoughtful, creative process (sketches and models).
