**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the quality assurance system and quality management within ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO 13485 and conducts internal quality audits to ensure the company operations comply with company standard.
- Planning, preparing and conducting quality awareness and other quality and
productivity-related training for staff, new hires, quality representatives and internal quality auditors.
- Planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating continual improvement initiatives.
- Identifying process and product measurements and performing data collection to ascertain process and product performance.
- Co-ordinate and actively participate in cross functional groups to develop, implement, maintain and review policies, procedures, standards, forms and templates.
- Participate in program to improve the process control system and SPC activities, product control, inspections plans, as well as customer’s specifications reviews and product configurations.
- Monitoring quality performance and improvement plans, managing internal and external errors, as well as promoting the use of quality tools.
- Interface directly with customers and suppliers on quality related matters.
- Participate in new product start-up from conceptualisation to qualification by customer.
- Audit sub-contractor process for compliance, as well as develop and improve sub-contractor processes.
- Ensure QA inspections are operating effectively.
- Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve yield.
- Implement measurement and improvement programs on and quality processes.
- Promote the effective use of quality tools, processes and system in the company through training implementation and review.
- Generate quality reports.
- Ensure that all relevant company quality procedures and work instruction are followed and adhered to by all team members.
- Preparing QA Department yearly budget & review them continuously.
- To ensure monthly departmental report on quality performance (KPI) and related QA activity.
- Knowledge of 6 sigma or Lean Maangement System are an added advantage.

**Job Requirements**:

- At least 4 - 5 years' working experience in quality assurance of which 3 years must be in a managerial capacity in a manufacturing industry.
- Sound hands-on in ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO13485 (preferably).
- Dynamic and self-driven with a good proven track record in the manufacturing industry Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.
- Independent and able to persevere under difficult situations.
- High sense of responsibility.
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with related experience, tertiary
education - degree in any field.
- Knowledge of injection moulding is an added advantage.

**Key Performance Indicator ( Only applicable for Executive Level and above )**:

- All productions Inspection performance and DPPM.
- In coming inspection performance.
- Customer complaints & Customer returns.
- Corrective/preventive actions performance.
- SPC implementation performance.
- Continuous improvement programs.
- Number of repeated defects.
- DPPM performance at customers in coming.
- Customer satisfaction rate.
