Factory Operation Manager

The Factory Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility. This role involves managing production processes, ensuring product quality, improving efficiency, and maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. The Operations Manager will lead and develop a team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and work closely with other departments to meet production targets and company goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Production Management**: Plan, organize, and oversee production schedules and activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
- **Logistic Management**: Ensure that all orders are arranged and delivered on time using the optimal lorry routes.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors, technicians, and operators to achieve operational excellence.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify areas for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Ensure that the facility complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a culture of safety and oversee safety training programs.
- **Resource Management**: Manage the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize production efficiency.
- **Budgeting and Cost Control**: Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
- **Maintenance Coordination**: Oversee the maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.
- **Reporting and Analysis**: Prepare and present operational reports, analyze production data, and provide insights to senior management.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments, including procurement, R&D & Sales to align production with overall business objectives.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing or production management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
- **Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and production planning.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in using SAP system.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
