Reconciliation Coordinator

**Description**:
The role of Reconciliation Coordinator is vital role in supporting the international payment team with reconciliation of client accounts. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for validating information held in finance system matches the customer bank account and that all payables have been paid in a timely manner.
We are in a growth period within our International Payments function and preparing to implement a new reconciliation platform in our busy, multinational, multi-currency business. This means that there are historic reconciliations to be performed on client accounts to ensure accuracy. You will then also be involved in the implementation of the platform and then, post implementation, you’ll be involved in creating and managing your client accounts using the new platform.
**On a typical day, you’ll be**:
Pre-New System
- Initially perform a full historical reconciliation of all client accounts held across multiple countries.
- Investigate any balances held on account.
- Communication with internal payments and payroll teams to resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure internal finance system exactly matches bank accounts
- Posting of transactions to finance system
Post-New System
- Assist with set up of new reconciliation system
- Daily reporting and exception management
- Monthly reconciliation procedures
- Addition of new customers and accounts onto platform
- Assist with account balance enquiries
**To be brilliant in this role, you'll have...**:
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- At least intermediate excel skills
- The attitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy sense of urgency that comes with role
- A track record of delivering accurate work to deadlines in a fast-paced organisation with excellent prioritisation and task management skills
- Past experience of bank account reconciliations would be beneficial but not essential
- Good investigative and problem-solving skills
